Assembly

GRASPEGO-C50 with bar clamps

The GRASPEGO-C50 fits nearly all F-style clamps in the market.

The range of F-style clamps to be used with the GRASPEGO-C50:

  • The moveable jaw of the F-style clamp (most often a metal jaw with a round shape) should be in the range of (see Figure 3):

Ø20.5mm to Ø33.5mm in order to fit into the GRASPEGO-C50.

Option 1: with the C50-spacer (see Figure 4)

Use the C50-spacer to allow a better fit between the C50 and the moveable round jaw (”plate”).

Close the screw for tightening the ”plate” to its final position.

Use a moderate and limited force to close the screw: while clamping an object, the holding pressure attaches the C50 to the ”plate”.

Option 2: without the C50-spacer (see Figure 5)

Where the ”plate” diameter is big enough to fit the C50 without its metal spacer, you can choose to work without the C50-spacer (depending on the thickness of the ”plate”).

Close the screw for tightening the ”plate”, to its final position.

Use a moderate and limited force to close the screw: while clamping an object, the holding pressure attaches the C50 to the ”plate”.

Before any New Grip - Make sure the C50 is well attached to the clamp’s jaw.

Tip:  Use a vise grip to temporarily hold the F-style clamp, then assemble the R50/C50 more easily.

Taking off the clamps’ pads: choose whether to leave or remove the pads of the F-style clamp depending on their size and strength. The R50/C50 will leave small grip marks along the closing contact points of the clamp.
