GRASPEGO Grip - A proper use (see figures below)
1) Using GRASPEGO you can effectively achieve a safe and stable grip to perform the majority of "soft & moderate applications". The kinds of actions/processing such as painting, fine-rotary tools for surface treatments, electric engraving, moderate work of filing / hand sawing /drilling, knife carving, low-pressure gluing, joining two pieces which have a small or narrow surface of contact, are all easy to execute by the GRASPEGO grip.
2) The GRASPEGO-R50/C50/B60 are designed for a moderate clamping force. In most cases these moderate actions/processing as listed above require no more than a few dozen kgf (up to 100 kgf / 220 lbf) to be applied on the objects.
3) However, depends on your workholding application:
For GRASPEGO -R50/C50 the effective clamping force can reach 275 to 1100 lbf (pounds force) / 125 to 500 kgf.
For GRASPEGO -B60 the effective clamping force can reach 550 lbf (pounds force) / 250 kgf.
For total technical guidelines of possible applications - and prior to use:
4) Before any "New Grip" make sure the R50/C50 is properly tightened on the clamp's jaw or the B60 is properly placed inside the peg hole.
A New Grip = A new setup of workholding, or a new job/processing even if the R50/C50/B60 are already being assembled.
5) Always start your gripping gently then incrementally increasing the clamping force.
6) Prohibition of impacts:
Do not apply hand tool impacts and/or do not use rotary-impact power tools on your objects while using GRASPEGO tools. These forbidden impacts include: hitting carving tools and chisels, using hammers for hitting the object, impact drivers / impact wrenches, massive hammer drillers or similar tools.
Do NOT apply in any way a direct impact on the GRASPEGO tools’ body.
7) Use the soft GRASPEGO pads to cushion the grip for sensitive materials, fragile objects, and sharp edges.

dealing with unique workholding challenges
Any shape - From any direction:

Holding a super fragile object:
In order to perform this task the clamping force required by GRASPEGO grip can be
a few [kgf] only
Adjust & Secure the object as pressure is applied:
As pressure is applied and prior to the final tightening - use the GRASPEGO Grip unique design (*) to grip all shapes and to rotate an object or change its position with high precision. Once the desired position is attained, simply tighten the clamping tool.
(*) Use the GRASPEGO-R50 additional feature - a tiny internal clutch (not seen in this figure), to control and adjust to the desired position.
Using GRASPEGO-R50 & GRASPEGO-C50:
The C50 on an F-style clamp (the movable jaw of a clamp) completes perfectly the R50 grip (the fixed side). In situations where a slight angle of the “C50 Front” is needed, that is, not a perpendicular grip relative to the main clamping axis, use both the R50 & C50 with your F-style clamp in order to achieve this very basic advantage .
The R50 remains an ultimate stable holding point, in any direction for any shape.
The versatility of the B60 product operated with Clamping tables:
Pick the peg holes, plug and clamp any object.
The B60 has 4 heights for gripping, and you can also use it as a high “Bench Dog”.
Change the holding points quickly and easily.
Be aware not to damage the peg holes by closing the table too strongly. To achieve a perfect stability, the GRASPEGO-B60 does not require high clamping force.
The B60 in its “Top Grip” makes it very easy to stabilize an object above the working surface and to secure it with a very low clamping force.
GRASPEGO grip for Vertical clamping: These figures show how easy it is for the R50/C50 to
apply a vertical grip (Hold-Down) even with only one point that can hold a longitudinal object with a very difficult shape. Yet, the achieved high stability by the GRASPEGO grip can provides various “soft” processing for such objects.

The unique synergy between B60 and R50 tools
1) A very challenging object to hold, however the GRASPEGO method takes the unique synergy between B60 and R50 tools to make it a very simple task of workholding. Notice that the B60 is an anchor point for the R50 operation (mounted on the Quick-Clamp) as well as to the total setup for these complex objects.
B60 as an anchor point
2) A classic combination between the B60 and R50 tools: perfect control and accuracy while dealing with fragile objects and/or joining two pieces which have a small or narrow surface of contact => Easy to execute by the GRASPEGO grip.
3) Use B60 with R50 and a hand clamp (Method 1) :
Step 1: Use one or more B60 units to position the object prior to final tightening of the grip.
Step 2: Use one or two R50 with a hand clamp to operate the final clamping of the object.
Anchor the R50 on one side to the rear or corner of the B60 while the other R50 applies the Basic GRASPEGO Grip.
Make sure to anchor the R50 to the B60 as close as possible to the surface of the workbench.
4) Use B60 with R50 and a spreader clamp (Method 2):
Step 1: Use one or more B60 units to position the object prior to final tightening of the grip.
An option for a Workbench with a Vise device:
Place a B60 unit on the movable Vise (within its peg hole) to use the advantage of dealing with a wide range of objects. Use this B60 unit also as a static point of grip prior to final tightening.
Step 2: Use one or more R50 with a hand clamp by its Spreader function to operate the GRASPEGO Push Clamping. Use only the R50 to apply the clamping force of the grip. Anchor the clamp’s jaw to the rear of the B60 while the R50 applies the Basic GRASPEGO Grip.
